Today we take a walk from the City of Gloucester and away from the docks on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal. We cross the River Severn and explore LLanthony lock and its role on navigating the River Severn. Join me as I follow along the old Dock Branch line to the fantastic horseshoe bridge and the amazing Telford Bridge AKA Over Bridge. We then take a walk over to the beautiful section of canal at Over on the Hereford and Gloucester Canal where the old isolation hospital once stood. See the transformation of the area with the brilliant wharf and hopefully a future lock down onto the River Severn.

Thank's for an informative video. The restoration at Over and beyond looks great, but I'm surprised that restoring the lock linking the canal and River Severn seems not to have been more of a priority - or are there major issues involved?
