Umaâs changed so much as a character, and you can see that in the way sheâs dressed.
Sheâs wearing a lot more gold here than before. It doesnât overpower the turquoise, but compliments it perfectly. On top of that, all the tassels on her outfit make her silhouette bigger when she dances. She followed the queen bee rule book, and looks like royalty in her own way.
I can tell that some thought and care went into it, it gives me hope for the movie.

I love this version. The original song always seemed like it had a playful rebellious undertone or something.
Red's version seems like she's not afraid to make everything around her red with enemies' blood.
Mostly because the instrumental is different. Pirates will always give me that playful rebellious energy đ
but add in that guitar and everything else and I'm in love.

Uma's was like friendly rivalry since it was basically Uma vs Mal. But since Red is going against her mother instead of a peer, it has a different vibe
