Myself (American) and small group of fans from across Europe used to follow Michael Jackson and saw him in nearly every country around the world for 15 years (mid-90's to 2009; I was 17 years old when I started traveling to see him until I was 30 years old when he died). Because we saw him so often, he recognized us and we met him many hundreds of times, he arranged for us to be at the front of his concerts, attend his tv appearances, invited us to his home Neverland, shopping with him, chats in his hotel rooms, he wrote us letters and birthday cards, gave us personal mementos, many autographs on special memorabilia, he bought us food on our travels, introduced us to his children, he'd wear clothes that we made for him like jackets & tshirts, just so many wonderful gestures...He was so kind and generous, it was unreal. I have the most amazing memories 🤩 We had beautiful times, but also sad times when he was broken from the allegations. No other celebrity will ever treat their fans as incredible as Michael did, he was so grateful for his fans and had so much love for us and our loyalty. Today, most celebrities would call the police to have fans removed if they waited outside their house - instead Michael invited us inside. We last spoke to Michael the night of June 24, 2009 (when he was rehearsing in Los Angeles for his This Is It tour) - just hours before he died the next morning. I'm still missing him and all the fun we had during those special years. We went to his funeral at the Staples Center which was of course devastating (his brother Randy was kind enough to give us tickets because it was a lottery system so we had such slim chance of all winning tickets).
I just want to add my voice to the chorus of people who love Michael and share that little insight into how truly special he was.

Liam's apartment is great, and his Michael Jackson (& Janet) collection is eye-poping. The Ringo collection is jaw-dropping along with the Woodstock handbill and Piece of Woodstock Stage. I have the big Woodstock 38 CD Archive collection and a Piece of Woodstock Stage, too. The Elvis coffee table blew my mind. That was a well above great gift you gave to Liam.

I loved Michael. When my son was so sick and in the Children's Hospital, Michael sat with him for a couple of hours while he was in a coma. Later, I received a letter that an anonymous person paid my son's 350 thousand dollar bill. I knew that was Michael Jackson. Makes me smile to think about him
