I'm not sure if it was entirely intentional but i kinda love that with every stamp the heart looks more and more broken as the ink in the tray runs out

Interpretation: Orla is going through all these relationships, either romantically or platonically, and she can’t seem to get attached the way she wants to. The people are trying by doing all these activities with her, but she can’t get into it. Eventually they get tired and leave her with the love that the used to have. When they leave she misses them and is left with their love, and with each relationship the love isn’t as strong(the hearts get more dry with each stamp). She knows that she can’t blame them for leaving or for how she misses them because she did it to herself by the way she acted in the relationship. So now every activity or everything they used to do reminds her of them, and there’s nothing she can do about it.

it's weird how people interpret videos differently. I saw this as association, how we hurt when somebody leaves but never really go, they also leave a part of themselves in memories. Such as hobbies they took a part in, sweet and funny moments in our memories, etc. And it makes you hurt because you can't help but think of them when you see this thing you associate them to

Edit: HOW DOES THIS HAVE 300+ LIKES?! My interpretation inbound! .. Orla is still caught up on someone and while all her friends are trying to be there for her and spend time with her. She brushes them off causing them to leave because they are hurt by her actions (broken heart stamps) and in the end she is left by herself (when each person brings their prop and leaves it with her) but she can’t blame them because she did it to herself.

Right time for wild theories on the video (not been previewed yet). Orla is hosting a dating show called me and my cactus but keeps falling in love with all the people she's meant to be helping find love. Eventually she gets fired from the show, only to fall in love with the new host. In a fit of anger she runs on stage and destroys everything, finishing with her in her previous seat where she hosted all those years

What a wonderfull one-take. I guess keeping a straight face while getting stamped on it was hard.

My interpretation: I think their her friends trying to help her get over someone but when they can't get through they leave (give her some space) but the hearts are there to show her their still there for her & love her despite her ignoring them.

1. They’re broken hearts, too much paint on the earlier stampings meant that we couldn’t see that crack. 2. I believe the inconsistent paint was unintentional, because it muddled the stamp’s design. 3. Most of these aren’t “fun friend activities”, but rather things you’d do on a date (the hug, the umbrella guy). 4. They all seem to realize she isn’t paying attention to them, one of the guys waves his hand in front of her. 5. Some of these might be friend activities, but they all eventually leave her with a broken heart.

This was so not what I was expecting but the imagery and colours and just the overall aesthetic works so well with the song!! I love the silhouette shot of you!

this is so beautiful, i kinda interpret this as orla feeling like no matter how much love her friends and family give her, she feels like she can’t recover from losing someone special to her. and how she just feels empty and said without that person, it’s super sad but such an amazing video 💓
