Meanwhile, my Muslim friend has had her tires slashed and she lives in fear due to hostility directed towards Muslims. It's a shame, but since she's not Jewish, too bad for her I guess.
Interestingly, Semitic describes a group of languages, including Hebrew and Arabic, as well as the people who traditionally speak them. However, antisemitism apparently only includes hostility to, prejudice towards, or discrimination against Jews alone. So it's apparently ok to be hostile towards, be prejudiced and discriminate against Arabs and Muslims all you want.
