Hi everyone! In this video we are finally covering some basic glottal behavior. In this video we discuss something commonly referred to as "mixed" voice but under the framework of "thick" and "thin". This is controlled primarily by vocal fold mass and it has significant effects for gender implication.

The exercises provided are different approaches to try and help student's discover and find their "thinner" voice quality. Work to isolate the "thick" and "thin" sound quality. While vocal fold mass is rooted in physiology from hormones and genetics, users can take control of the voice and behaviorally manipulate the vocal fold mass across a great spectrum of options. Gaining control over vocal fold mass is a critical control for vocal freedom.
