A ride on the new M9 on the LIRR Ronkonkoma Branch. In this clip, it's operating express from Hillside Facility to Hicksville. In part two, the journey continues to Deer Park.
You'll notice construction which is taking place. The LIRR is adding a third track on its Main Line from Floral Park to Hicksville. It's also removing several grade crossings for safety reasons. In addition, all of the stations along the Main Line are being renovated. When the project is complete, I'll make another video of the Main Line.
