OMG !!! Yul Brenner has such presence - he is positively regal!! Steve McQueen absolutely superb, and I cried and cried at the very end when the boys put flowers on Charles Bronson's grave. Absolutely The Magnificent Seven !!

What I love in these classic Westerns is the elegant, gentlemanly dialogue, even if it's a bit out of place with these rough frontiersmen. No curse words, no disrespect whatsoever, even from the outlaw chief.

I've often watched this movie since I was a kid in 1960 and never a dull moment ... Yul Brynner (great swagger/ actor), Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, James Coburn, Horst Buchholz, Eli Wallach are ALL magnificent ... very nice! what a classic ... real McCoy essence of America ...

Still in the top 5 westerns of all time. What’s unfortunate and a insult is the great Mr. Bernstein didn’t win an Oscar for this classic western song.

After I saw this movie as a little boy, I think that every time my friends and I played cowboys and crooks, the theme music to this great movie formed part of our daily sagas. How I wish my sons could have experienced the joy and fun we had playing in the sun and rain, in the fields and sand dunes that eventually gave way to housing projects and shops. Like a real gunman, my holster would hang next to my bed, ready for tomorrows adventure. What great memories! And then I went high school...

I was 10 years old when I saw it for the first time, I am 72 years old now and I get the same kick out of watching it today. I have no idea how many times I watched it, at least 100, maybe a thousand, it doesn't matter, classic is classic. Immortal... Nostalgic...

No one could have selected the seven actors better than that.... This movie cannot be overwritten!

My favorite point is when Robert Vaughn puts his pistol back in its holster before kicking in the door; recapturing his courage.

Perhaps not the alltime best Western, but pretty darn good! My favorite part is when Charles Bronson gives a lecture to the little Mexican youngster who said his father was a coward.. a fine piece of acting..with a message that is timeless..
