Really? You donāt even CONSIDER Raditude?! There is no reality in which Raditude is not the best Weezer album. Itās a magnum opus that puts all other Weezer albums - no, all other music in existence - to shame. If you have never partied to Lilā Wayneās epic feature on Canāt Stop Partying, you have never truly LIVED. Your opinion is objectively false. There is literally no debate. No matter what any of the other Weezer bros say.
And while weāre on this topic, The Lawn Gnome from Pinkerton is a total loser. Apparently he just started a dating service specifically for Asian lesbians, and Iām getting worried about his motives. The Octopus from Ok Human also still holds a grudge against me after I stole their piano to record Love Is Still The Answer (ft. AJR) for the new Weezer album Raditude 2: Still Partying. But I get along fine with The Monster from EWBAITE, so Iām cool with that appraisal. Anyways, donāt stop partying! -Sidney

I love Maladroit as much as the next guy, but I also completely understand why it's so forgotten. There's no real obvious "hit single", the cover art is pretty bland, and just in general it lacks an emotional core or theme to tie it all together. It's just a mix tape of really good, short rock tunes, but there's just really not much to dissect from it.
Another banger video, by the way.

Probably the Blue Album, to be honest. It left such an impact on the music scene at the time, and it contains many of Weezer's most iconic songs. Even some of the non-singles like "My Name is Jonas," "In the Garage" and "Only in Dreams" are very popular. The album seems to have helped revive the power pop genre too. It's even more impressive when you consider that this is their debut album. It's very rare for a debut album to be this good.

There is nothing about this list that isnāt just true
Pinkerton means so much to me, especially connected to my childhood and the mental state I was in when first discovering it, I connected so hard to the angsty melodrama that rivers was spilling and itās always stuck with me
That being said, there are not a lot of solid arguments to say itās the better album. Blue has more bangers, blue has an easier sound, and like you mentioned, everything else builds from it

Iām gonna say it!
Maladroit is one of their top 3 albums. Yes we can argue that itās boring and it bleeds together. But itās a new-age pinkerton revival. Itās dirty but clean. Itās raw and painful. Itās loud and crunchy. Itās everything weezer fans desire. Honestly such a powerful and sad album.

Red has always held a special place in my heart. I genuinely think itās a perfect album and was the turning point I think where Weezer started to get more āexperimentalā with their sound. There isnāt a single song on Red that sounds the same, and to me, itās pretty impressive that they did that and made an album of such high quality. Everything is mixed gorgeously and I think Red is one of the best sounding Weezer albums.
My favorite songs on Red are Greatest Man, Pork and Beans, Dreaminā, The Angel and the One, and if weāre including bonus tracks, Pig.

It's good that you removed Christmas with Weezer, as it would have taken #1 with no contest.
