I still come back to Ultrapop pretty often, whenever I need a hit of technicolor aggression. The Armed are one hell of a band, and Ultrapop is one hell of an album. I was so amazed when I first heard it. It was my favorite album of 2021, above Afrique Victime by Mdou Moctar and Alkisah by Senyawa. Those are also worth checking out.
