I got the world record for the hardest speedrun in Plague Inc, all plagues on mega brutal difficulty. You need to play almost perfectly for a lot of these plagues to do this, so it's a really interesting run

Some of strats I used were from other speedruns, and some were from Tatsur0's guide on Steam. Check them out here: steamcommunity.com/id/tatsur0/myworkshopfiles/?sec…

Watch the world record speedrun here: this video

My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!

Fun fact: plagued inc is CDC endorsed. They believe the game to be a great tool for understanding how pathogens work and evolution of diseases.

Greenland is like that one friend who you’d never think would be athletic, then when they’re the last one In dodgeball they become a god.

Wasn’t expecting a random affirmation from Speezy during the Vampiric Plague

57:49 I really did NOT expect that, my mind wandered off for a bit and the next thing I know is Speezy being giga wholesome. Really sweet of you man, keep doing what you're doing because you're very good at it.

I can barely do bacteria on casual mode and this guy is speed running all plagues on mega brutal mode. Huge respect.

I'm not sure what I like more, the fact that when Speezy upgrades a single symptom like Cytopathic reanimation every person every infected with the disease suddenly becomes a zombie like sleeper agents, or the fact that his vampire managed to kill every single person in Greenland by itself, including the entire military and everyone who would be hiding in a bunker. Absolutely legendary plague creation

Watching Eazy Speedy at 2x speed doubles the whiplash from "our vampire plague is spreaaaading" to "Seriously. You are Loved." to "yall ever think about how our memories are fake" back to "vampire plague!!" Great video, and it's really interesting to see the strats!

6:50 the line about "using Saudi Arabia for 9/11 of the examples" was errrr..... ONE HELL OF A CHOICE 😂

Just in case you were wondering the "manufactured memory" sounds like a psychology concept called "false memories" where if you gather enough information, your brain begins to really want to put everything together to make an actual story. It actually starts to piece together real events, imaginary details made up by the mind, and sometimes details distorted by other memories as well. These memories can actually begin to feel so real that in the past during law cases, there has actually been innocent suspects who start believing they were actually involved in the crime, resulting in false confessions.

Plague Inc. Wiki editor and longtime community member here, thank you for giving the game a boost in exposure and popularity with this video. It’s a game with fascinating mechanics, so I’m glad you took the time to learn them through. 😊 By the way, Severity is a trade off mechanic - humanity’s response will be stronger, but you get more DNA from popping bubbles :)

EazySpeezy told me at 4 in the morning at the end of a plague inc Speedrun that I am loved and I really needed to hear it. Thank you

mega brutal is...very brutal...seriously though, it feels impossible, even with a guide, because something goes wrong or you don't do something at the exact correct time and then you lost the entire game. I respect you for doing something like this.

My first day playing this game years ago on like my third attempt I ended up lossing with a single person in the world still healthy. I felt so robbed I was like when that one guy dies humanity is extinct even if he’s still alive I have won.

The best part of this entire happening is your half memories that you start regaling about around 53:35. I've got my own very VERY early memories that feel dreamlike. Trying to go back and unearth these emotions always feels like a struggle no one else will have, because they're my own memories. The fact that you also have these experiences that you don't fully understand, but still openly talk about, is very exciting. Thank you for this experience.
