His sincerity he is the Character's he plays. Whether that be a Grey persona or Dark, or Moral. He's of two Actors: Method to Character To Strictly ( in Character) The Method Actor Lives & breathes the Characters they play. The Draw back to being completely devoted to a Character like his Doctor 11 Or a Vampire creepy Science project gone wrong. Is the Method Actor in order to fully become that Character may change their appearance, their attitude, their physicality, in order to perfectly become type of persona, they may experiment with even chemical dependency in order to play a drug addict, or lose or gain weight to dangerously flush out Identity of real people they play, such as in the Crown, Matt may take on a quirk that he naturally may have been against. He may be driven so far as to enact mannerisms of a real person such as sex acts against his own decision's. But Matt is a super intelligent Actor, performer, artist. I don't mean that he would hurt himself intentionally, I just seen, & know Method Actors who took their profession too far. & With the enriched Character's he has already been, even Matt needs to think about the direction & mistakes that can occur on off on set. Stuntee's are hired for a reason, so to keep the Actors Method or Character safe. But Method Actors have a addiction to adrenalin, & their drug of choice usually is more action. I want people to think about this, so they realize what Method Acting truly means. For instance the Joker from Batman Died from Depression, anxiety, & over dosed, he was a Method Actor, the Joker was his killing joke. Other Method Actors live for the rush of a stunt. Or trying something out of their ordinary lives just to be the Character. Violent tendencies branch, & stir. Character Acting is the safer of the choices, tho problems can certainly arise with any unsupervised production. Even Actors slash Stuntee, can be limited. Xena Warrior Princess had a lovely Actor The other Kevin. You may remember, Who played the God of War Aries. He died off set, from a bad stunt. Same with Brandon Lee from the Crow. A real bullet had left the chamber, & went thru the grocery bag, straight into his chest. The Crew was so used to the Actor being Method, they realized too late Brandon was already gone, choked & drowned on his own blood. But everyone including the stuntee with the gun prop, thought Brandon was faking it, what a fantastic Method Actor, hey, ok Brandon, get up now... These Actors were not only professionally trained, in what they wanted to do for their lively hood, but they also died from it. Luckily the G.O.T HD. Crew is extremely thoughtful, & careful, in prepping stunts, or anything a Method or Character Actor has to go through, to complete a scene. Takes, & shots, the Actors young & older may have to accomplish, such as sword work, with real blades, such as Dark Sister, a real blade, before prop dummy swords are used, in more dangerous carves, blocks, & parry's, that could ruin an Actor just a misstep, to the dance moves added, or in a action, to make the Character realized, for the Fans delight of any series run. Not every Crew is prepared to protect or produce assistance for any small stunt work. & Method Actors are not always trained properly, for more then they signed on for. Sometimes it's a small thing. Matt for instance hurt himself when he was a kid, luckily for us & him it made him take up Acting, instead of a foot ball career. Because he really is phenomenal as a Method Actor. I only hope his Crew remains aware of his Natural Talent's, & respect's his professionalism. He is also known to be accident prone, & that too is worrisome on any film set. Matt thinks of it as his curse, but a lot of Actors Character or Method can fall victim to their own afflictions. Occupational hazards... Such as being controll freaks, telling the Crew what to do, instead of listening to the Head master, Stunt Quarenator, or Team leader's of Squibb handling. Explosives detonation is a definite Team effort to cause the right action & direction. Actors are usually far from real explosives, or other actions concerning safety issues. Matt being a really observant, & very patient, fantastic listener, as well as supportive Cast member. & Trained in Stunts, & has honed his craft over time. He is an enigmatic, leader himself, & ever humble. Having even taken a sword to his face, the first day of sword training, with Frankel. But Matt being the sweetie💋👩🏼‍🦱 He is, just smile's, & said: "Oh, It's just all part of the work day isn't it?" Yup, Matt Smith is that amazing Actor.
