I have been wanting to do this video for many years. Nicolay, a producer from the Netherlands and one half of the Foreign Exchange, put out his hip hop album Timeline along with Houston rapper Kay in 2008. In my opinion, it is one of the best produced and arranged hip hop albums, way ahead of its time.
This song GTA has an amazing story told lyrically by Kay. One of the most difficult animated videos I have produced to date, I wanted to send a message in this video. It will be interesting to see what your interpretation of my interpretation was. This was difficult because of trying to follow the story line and keeping the characters mostly consistent. I also wanted to throw in some unexpected funny things in there if you are able to spot them.
Every video I create has an Easter egg, if you are able to find it.
