For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition is a reissue of the eighth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake, For All the Dogs (2023), released on November 17, 2023, through OVO Sound and Republic Records. It contains six additional tracks and is a continuation of his second and fourth extended plays, Scary Hours (2018) and Scary Hours 2 (2021), with the new tracks being appended to For All the Dogs on digital platforms.
For All the Dogs is the eighth studio album by Canadian rapper and singer Drake. It was released through OVO Sound and Republic Records on October 6, 2023. The album features guest appearances from Teezo Touchdown, 21 Savage, J. Cole, Yeat, SZA, PartyNextDoor, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, and Lil Yachty. Production was handled by Drake, Teezo Touchdown, and Lil Yachty themselves, along with 40, Sango, Oz, Bnyx, Southside, Boi-1da, Vinylz, Tay Keith, FnZ, Jahaan Sweet, DJ Screw (posthumously sampled), Stwo, Gordo, and Justin Raisen, among others. The album was preceded by two singles, "Slime You Out" and "8AM in Charlotte", the former of which features SZA. It follows both of Drake's albums that were released in 2022: his seventh solo studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, and his collaborative studio album with 21 Savage titled Her Loss.

hard to argue that this is isn’t drakes best rapping in years. maybe a little boring, but it shows Drake still has the ability to rap like he could in 2015

The issue with Drake is that he’s literally become too famous, now having a fanbase that’s too diverse to ever fully satisfy. His rap fans are mad when he doesn’t release a bar heavy project, but doing so would risk alienating the other half of his fanbase. As such, I appreciate what he did with FATD, but I’m glad he added these 6 tracks to supplement the rap that was missing in the original release.

Completely understand Kevin’s thoughts on the versatility. Personally as a long time hip hop fan some of my favorite songs are actually a steady beat with solid rapping on top.
