Story 5: what do you mean "we", from the sounds of it mom is the only one constantly being bothered by your perfectly capable teens that are just too lazy to do anything for themselves. And instead of having her side and maybe telling the kid to leave her alone you rush home after being told the kids were grounded to tell your wife she's overreacting that they couldn't give her 10 minutes to herself.

I work at a resort and I remember meeting this Dad and his daughter, who was full of energy. I talked with him a bit and he said he was spending the weekend with his daughter to give his wife some time alone.
