This is what a healthy 13-year platonic relationship looks like. They're like siblings the way they explain/talk about their relationship with one another. Same age, same company, both from iconic groups in their respective field, they hang out privately and frequently as friends, they grew up together, share the same dreams/goals, are very open and comfortable in each other's presence, etc. As you get older it becomes increasingly harder to find such good connections like these with another person.
