I'm from Rajasthan, India, on the other side of Thar. When she sang "The people of Thar were awakened," I got goosebumps. We're all Thari people, on both sides of the border, representing Rajasthan, India, and Sindh, Pakistan! The Thar Desert unites us. The culture, traditions, and clothing are exactly the same as what we have in rural Rajasthan, especially in Marwar! I'm so amazed and grateful to Coke Studio Pakistan and especially Xulfi for celebrating my culture ❤ Though I don't understand Sindhi, it's very similar to my Rajasthani Marwari language, but the culture of Thar is the same on both sides ❤️

My grandfather left Sindh and came to India during partition. All his life he has narrated me about how beautiful Sindh was when he was there. he even asked me to draw the roads and maps as per his discription. He has always felt so proud about being Sindhi. Now he is 91 years old, with blurry vision and on bed due to recent leg fracture. I showed him the entire video/music and I could see a child with teary eyes as if he got back his 90 years old memory and had a quick time travel to his happy days.
Thank you coke Studio from entire Sindhi community from India who had to migrate and had to leave their birth place.
