The only time I ever really got to see Scott Norton was during his brief WCW run.
And I liked the guy, wished I could have seen a lot more of his work back in the day.
That's the kind of guy I want to see in a wrestling ring! I don't want to see punks that don't intimidate me in any way shape or form in a wrestling ring.
I don't want to waste my time watching guys on TV and I damned sure ain't wasting my money on a ticket to see a wrestling match between guys that I could see scrapping at some local bar over a broad or the last beer.
I want to see guys that I look at and say to myself "There is no way I would fuck with that guy!" if I ever met them on the street. Scott Norton definitely fit the bill of being that kind of guy.

I was in gramma B's a few times, I saw those guys in action, you had to be drunk or an idiot to fool with those guys.

Patrick Henry! My Alma Mater! My dad saw Hawk in action at another bar, the Roaring Twenties. I know some stories.... Scott was a great guy. I remember him doing a bench press demonstration at Weber park and telling us kids to behave, exercise etc. great guys. Love you Scott!

I was too big for peewee football too growing up in Brooklyn Park, MN. It sucked, I could practice with the park board team but couldn't play in games. Didn't start playing until 9th. I also bounced at what was grandma B's but changed names. That place was crazy! Never met Scott but knew all about his rep around town. Great career, nice guy! I think Eddie Sharkey trained Scott. I trained with Eddie but my pro career was short lol.

Scott Norton is what any heavyweight wrestler should ASPIRE to be. strong, fast, technical, charismatic and ELOQUENT AND SMART. I miss watching him in action. I still say that Scott can make Roman Rains or anyone else of modern "stars". look like idiots in the ring.

Just last year I gave scott,2 outside of the ring pictures of hawk, and he was deeply moved. I knew they were best of friends so that’s the reason why I did that.

That's so cool. I can only imagine having one of you guys as a good friend back in HS. I don't like using the word special but that place and that time seemed like it was special.
