fun fact - the real scissor sisters (who gave the name inspiration for the artists) were actual murderers, who killed their mother's boyfriend in order to save her and themselves. a couple lyrics actually state facts from the case:
"i can't decide" - they were reluctant to kill him
"throw you in the lake" - they disposed of his his body in a canal
"bury you alive" - they buried his severed head in a park, but then dug it up again and re-buried it deeper so nobody found it, hence the "you could crawl out" part.
"my heart is dead inside, it's cold and hard and petrified" - one of the sisters was really badly affected by this event, and she was terrified of what they had done.
