If I may suggest a correction, from around 4:00 onwards, you kept saying chord V as G, and chord IV as A.
In the key of D, it's the other way round- A is V and G is IV.

Many years ago, I was messing around at the piano in the student lounge at college and someone came up to me and told me there was gonna be a memorial service for a student who had passed away and asked if I'd like to play some music for it. Now, I didn't know the student and definitely didn't think about what I would play songwise. She said just some light background stuff is all they were looking for beforehand and after.
I agreed. I used these exact techniques and everyone came up to me afterward and told me it was perfect and very beautiful. They were so grateful. I was told that the girl who had passed played much in the same way.
The girl who asked me to play even paid me for the time. I reluctantly accepted after refusing repeatedly!!

I love the piano so much, there's no other instrument where all of music theory and musical elements is at your disposal at one time more than with the piano.

Sometimes when I start my piano practice routine, I'll lose my motivation within 30 minutes. But once I start watching your videos, I find myself practicing for the next hour. The way you teach makes the piano so enjoyable!!!

Awesome! I love the catch title "how to waste time" but this is a great theory lesson in improv. I've not done as much with the sus chord, but I've been trying to get my students to "play around" with the 1-4-5 like this to work on playing by ear. Maybe if I call it "wasting time" they'd be more interested in trying it! LOL! Thanks so much for this!
