Cagelocke Rules:
1- Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead," and must be released or stored in a specified PC box for "dead" Pokémon.
2- You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else
3- After each Gym Battle, we will face off in the CageMatch!
---Each Player sends 1 Pokemon
---Pokemon can only be sent in a Cagematch four times max
---Pokemon have 2 lives in Cage Matches
4- The Winning Team chooses ONE of these rewards!
---Unlimited TM Usage for that Pokemon
---Unlimited Held Item Usage for that Pokemon
---Nature Change
(If you obtain those 3 perks with one Pokemon - you can then get a final perk of changing your Pokémon's ability to WHATEVER you want!
5- You cannot teach Pokemon TMs or give them held items unless earned in a CageMatch!
6- This will be a round robin style where it will be 3 Cage Matches after each gym and the winners will be awarded 1 point!

--- Vinny vs Dylan
--- Dylan vs Frank
7- Whoever has the most points will be awarded 1st place and gets a bye into the final fight. 2nd & 3rd will face off in a 6v6 team wifi battle to then move on to finals to face off whoever placed in 1st.
8- Whoever wins in the finals, is the Cagelocke Champio

To keep things fair, if you're having cage matches you can't give items/TMs until after the three fights. Means Vinny can't go in on Dylan with a held item mon after Dylan hasn't fought yet etc.

I think it’s important for future cage matches to rotate the order of fights because the winner of the first match will have the perk to use, the person who loses the first match has a mon with less lives, and the person sitting out the first match has more info to learn from.
You could think of your math ups like matchup 1 (Vinny v. Frank), 2 (Vinny v. Dylan), and 3 (Dylan v. Frank) then rotate each badge.
123, 231, 312, 132, 213, 321 could be the first six badges to get all possible combinations. To keep it as fair as possible, you can randomize the order for the last two badges

I feel like it would make sense for you guys to rotate the order you fight in like how in this one it went Frank and Vinny, Vinny and Dylan, and then Dylan and Frank so the next Cage Match should start with Vinny and Dylan, Dylan and Frank, and then end with Frank and Vinny, and continue rotating it like that for each one

Very entertaining series so far. I think the 45-55 minute, twice a week schedule is really good for a let’s play. I felt the once a week hour and a half wasn’t very conducive to keeping me engaged, as I’m busy over the weekend. This gives the ability to enjoy the series throughout the week and also keeps it in my mind more.

Things are heating up 👹🔥 Update: I see a lot of comments about rotating the order of battles in each new cagematch session - we already recorded the next two episodes and we will be rotating each time so no worries there! 🙌 Thank you all for the support during this series, it's been crazy!
