With apologies to Yong Yea :) BTW, has anyone noticed that Episode 6 isn't in this video? While Ep.6 is a good general overview of light and shadow, the diffuse lighting scenario here will need a more focused lesson. Stay tuned, and thanks for watching!

I've spent 4 years at the university studying fine arts, and i'm almost giving up. I discovered your channel this morning , and now that I've spent all my day watching your videos and tutorials i learned much more than i did these past 4 years and I'm so excited to get back to work. Thank you so much.

Dear Marco Bucci, Let me just take this opportunity to express how grateful I am that you made this series and shared it (for free!) with us on YouTube. The information packed within these videos is overwhelming, yet they are all a concise ten minutes (even with all the intern jokes!). What you are doing for the art community and every person watching these is absolutely incredible and I cannot thank you enough. In eight videos, less than one and a half hours, you have taught me more about art and how to make it than I have ever known. Concept art finally makes sense to me now and isn't just this unattainable thing somewhere in the distance anymore, it has become something achievable, which encourages me to chase my dream of becoming a concept artist one day even more. Thank you so much. You are the best. With love and respect, an aspiring artist and big fan of yours

The only thing in the world that matches your painting skills in excellence is your teaching skills. I come back to your videos often, because even though they seem simple thanks to how they are made, they contain tons of complex concepts. But every time I do I get so pumped to create, many other artists turn composition and color theory into these huge scary monsters, but with the way you're portraying them, the journey of learning seems fun and fascinating on its own!

When I saw 10 Minutes To Better Painting at work, it made me excited for lunch time. Your short videos are amazing to see, and I also notice the amount of work and passion on these videos, eventhough you take a hell of time to deliver us videos( sorry for complaining, but I really enjoy your videos, I am a fan). Ive learnt a lot through your videos, hope you do really well in life to keep delivering such amazing content. I know I am rumbling a lot, but thanks I really appretiate. Any time I have, I try to follow all your lessons, I still cant do the way you do, but I am keeping improving, thanks

This is probably one of the best youtube tutorials i've ever seen. Nice script, nice effects, you know your stuff and its fun to watch. It's like all the work that went into it, is so subtle, that I'm only left with the fun of watching your tutorial :)
