I lost my best friend to a motorcycle accident,he hit a
guardrail on a cold, rainy night after leaving my house I couldn't stop thinking about him ,we were only 19 now I'm 53, and there's not a day goes by I don't think about that night, Thank You Luke,a friend of ours called me after he heard this song, he said this was meant for Joey , life just hasn't been the same without you, I gave up riding that night
, and then when I heard this song, I thought it would be nice to dedicate a ride to him well Joey, this weekend is for you my friend we've missed you, see you soon!

I Lost my Brother one night after work, he just got back from his deployment (Iraq) he stopped by work to invite me out for a night of drinking and Girl chasing. He help me load sandbags into my truck and took off in his Indian Motorcycle.
He said "I'll meet you there!" That was the last time I saw him alive. He hit the guardrail going 100mph. He wasn't my Blood brother but we shared Blood, sweat, and tears together in the Military. I miss that Guy every time I hear an Indian rev up. ... RIP Sargent Bonito

Song hits had not because I've lost someone on a motorcycle but the fact that I ride and I'm reckless and sometimes I think to myself I could of been that brother that dies on a bike and this song makes me take a step back to realize there are people who care about you and to not take your life for granted. So be safe out there fellow bikers

The first time I heard this song, it reminded me of my brother. The lyrics may not explain his life exactly prior to becoming clean almost 2 years before God took him home, but he did live in the world out "where the wild things are"...
He had a motorcycle, smoked cigarettes, lived dangerously, and was in a well-known outlaw bike club in Boise and other Western states. He did things that were illegal a lot of times at night. We would go days and months with no contact from him.
We did, however, spread his ashes in the wind under the West Coast stars in California.... 😔💔
Miss you, brother...

Just a few months ago my dad had a motorcycle crash. It was very hot and he got heatstroke and he passed out. He drifted and hit a guardrail, the police report says at 3:23 pm. The only difference from the song is my dad got incredibly lucky and there were military trained people right there and they put a band on his leg. He had to have his leg amputated but they saved his life. I just recently found this song and it hits me like a train every single time I hear those lyrics.

I lost my brother when I was 19 to a motorcycle accident. He was only 26. I’m turning 27 this Saturday. I miss him every day. This song brings me a lot of nostalgia and happy memories. Thank you Luke for this awesome song.
