Alongside all the gushing I myself have been doing over all the wins online, I wanted to add a few things. I didn’t realise until you mentioned it that Frakes never got any awards as Riker before now. That’s really astounding, especially as he’s admitted in interviews that he was actually quite anxious and unsure about returning to acting after having focussed on directing for so many years now. Thank goodness he did, with the help of his wife, as he gave us literally the best of both worlds in PIC season 3. Also, regarding what you said about TNG suddenly getting the Lifetime Achievement Award, I think it’s really important that PIC Season 3 has reawakened just how good that show and cast were in their heyday. So much focus, even in modern times, is on TOS as the iconic show whenever anyone thinks of or mentions Star Trek. Casual fans and members of the public tend to forget or don’t even know there was TNG, DS9, VOY etc. So, it’s great that it’s been awarded and remembered like this.👏😀

Remember when Sam Rockwell won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Three Billboards" and people were like, "Really? We love Sam, and he should've had one of these already, but for that movie?"
I kind got the same feeling about Picard Season 3 getting so many Saturns. This feels like compensating for not giving TNG as many as they might've deserved.
