I spent 10 days away from my mum and she ended up with puffy eyes and even had flashing lights in one of her eyes. When I asked her what she’d been eating, she listed lots of takeaways, junk and carbs! In 2 days of eating low carb, the puffiness has gone down and the flashing lights have gone away completely. This is all thanks to Dr Bergs videos and advice!

I had really puffy eyes and over a decade ago I discovered that when I stopped eating canned foods the swelling went away. I tried to share this with other people and my doctor but they didn’t care. I even had a cousin that had plastic surgery on his puffy eyes even after I tried to get him to at least try a change in food before committing to plastic surgery . Needless to say his eyes are puffy again and he has not acknowledged his eating habits.

I have had heavy bags for years. Started when I was about 50 and 12 years later, they continue to be a curse. My father had them as well. Sad part is, they have always made me look older than I am and I constantly hear people ask if I am tired. I am not over-weight, 5' 8" 165 lbs. I wish I could get rid of them without any surgery. Thank you for the video.

Everything you say makes sense. One cause of puffy eyes, that no one talks about is blepharitis. Demodex mites that overpopulate your eyes cause major inflammation in the eye and around it. As we age, this can be a real issue that doctors ignore. Love for you to discuss this on your video some day and offer solutions. Thanks Dr Berg.

It’s remarkable how few people focus on treating the source rather than the symptom. We see this constantly with the medical profession ❤

I have never consumed high carb and I have eye bags as long as I remember. I did follow keto diet for two years because of health conditions but my eye bags still exist. In my opinion this condition is not entirely related to high sugar intake.

Once I learned this from Dr. Berg, I use it as a measuring rod against my diet. I might be losing weight, but if my eyes are puffy I can almost always find some ingredient hidden away in something or that I was a bit too high on carbs the day before.

I’ve had bags under the eyes since I was a teenager and never knew how to fix the issue. I don’t often eat desserts, but for New Year’s Eve, I bought ice cream and chocolate sauce. I indulged for two days, and I had no idea why I got up those two mornings (after enjoying the dessert) and noticed I looked like I’d been through a war, lol. Bigger bags under the eyes than usual! I sat down today and while eating lunch (a salad), I watched your vid. I truly believe your vid explained it all! Thank you!

What I like about your answers is you’re consistent. You’re not all over the place where they say it could be this. It could be that it could be so many things causing the problem. Meanwhile when they’re all over the place what they’re demonstrating is they really don’t know what’s causing it. Do they realize that they’re not taking any accountability. All the shown is the degree that they went to school for to earn doesn’t prove that they’re qualified at anything except speculation. And they prescribe all these drugs that make your condition worse. Just another way to prove their incompetent. And it also proves even more so they don’t want to be held accountable. They just want to earn big bucks.

I've been on keto for 6 years. I had very puffy eyes last year. I had an abdominal episode and had to go to the hospital. My gallbladder was full of stones and had to be removed. I recovered well and my puffy eyes got much better.

Call a kid "overweight" nowadays and get shunned for being real. It's very sad. Thank you, Dr. Berg! 💯

I put my eye puffiness down to sleep deprivation through alternating work shift patterns (splits, earlies, nights) over the last 40+ years.
