"Modern freeways speed traffic to all parts of today's bustling cities. No hold-ups here, with interchanges that separate opposing lanes and completely eliminate traffic signals. Everyone benefits, from fathers on their way to work, to mothers ferrying the kids to school and doing their daily shopping. Even long-distance trucks move faster, ensuring their goods are delivered safely and on time. Your tax dollars are supporting the construction of America's freeways, the largest and most extensive on earth, and a monument to our country's progressive and forward-thinking government policies. Yes, every American can be proud of the interstate highways! With the entire system's completion scheduled for 1975, the United States will show yet again why it leads the world!"

Brings up memories of my childhood. A real all day Mom where you could always get a hug for an owie. Dad coming home from work in his bib overalls. Prayer at an altogether dinner.
People poke fun of those days. They're just jealous. They were the best of my days. A sweet childhood is a blessing.

I love these old background music recordings. I've been known to stand under a speaker in a store or men's room, just to listen to the music. This sounds like a Leroy Anderson piece - trumpets in cup mutes, flutes, pizzicato strings and orchestra bells. This is actually a pretty hip arrangement. Many of the best studio musicians in the business made these recordings, but check out the orchestra bells hitting a clam on first beat of the 7th bar after the intro at :21. Hey, nobody's perfect!
