On May 31, 2022, we marked the opening of the exhibition “Behind Racism” with an interactive panel discussion featuring Isha Khan, CEO of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Mohammed Hashim, Executive Director of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, and Marie Chapman, CEO of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.
This important exhibition explores how our brains form biases, how those biases can become embedded in our communities as systemic racism, and how we can take action to be anti‐racists.
You can learn more about the exhibition at humanrights.ca/exhibition/behind-racism-challengin….
The exhibition and its tour are presented by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation with the generous support of the Government of Canada and in partnership with the Mosaic Institute, the Ontario Science Centre and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is grateful to Wawanesa Insurance and CPA Manitoba for their support of the exhibition in Winnipeg.
