RDNA 4 Full Leak - Specs, Performance, Release Date
If you’ve been following tech news you might have heard the rumor that AMD wouldn’t be launching any high end GPUs until RDNA 5 in 2025, but it looks like things may have changed as one or more GPUs may actually be releasing potentially as soon as early next year that would be significantly faster than AMD’s current flagship RX 7900 XTX, and Nvidia should definitely be worried, because the RDNA 4 architecture as a whole seems to be an impressive upgrade over RDNA 3. Not only that, but now we have the name of the first RX 8000 Flagship GPU which will be much faster than the RX 7900 XTX. According to leaks it will be called the RX 8800, but it is possible AMD could name it the RX 8800 XT or 8800 XTX.

I think it was a episode of broken silicon they said they can't see amd really trying to beat Nvidia in raytracing until the sony and Microsoft demands it in their next console. Which makes sense i guess. Im sure it was them that alluded to that

I just got a 7900XTX days ago so I'm set for the next good while, but I'm still excited for AMD to come out with something new. The more pressure they put on Nvidia, the better.

If we consider Pathtracing really working in 4K Ultra setting with over 60-80 FPS(without upcaling) on Nvidia cards or we get 20-30% more raster on AMD side. Pricing needs to be right. If Intel manage to have a Battlemage with at least similar raster performance with 7900XT/3090 Ti at USD 599-749 price range in Q2-Q3 2024, ahh sweet dreams.

If AMD brings out something close to a 4090 I'm 100% switching to AMD, I'm sick of NVIDIA insane rip off prices, not to mention the melting connector issue. I'm currently on a 3080Ti so I'm not spending another 1,000+ on a GPU until I can get roughly x2 the performance, the 4080 for me isn't worth spending a load on cash on, it's either a 4080Ti, 4090 or AMD if they bring out something better than a 7900XTX

Personally, i would like to see gpus with 16 pcie lanes and 256bit memory bus with a height of 2 pci slots. Even if these where slightly slower than rx7800 rx7700 for example.

Wonder what a RX 8900XTX might look like and if that is something AMD might drop on us at some point. I sure would like to see AMD stay in the fight with Nvidia, just so sick and tired of ending up with green team and so desperately what a real choice in the high end range!
