Hereās why I love Kai so much aside from the music. He may not have been intimidating, but he had really great villain lines. When Shifu said "Oogway, forgive me." Kai held up the chi amulet of Oogway and said "What do you say, Oogway? Do you forgive him?" He also had the coolest fight style, weapons, and entrances. Also, the first two villains were chased by Po and the Furious Five. But Kai was the only villain who did the chasing. Instead of Po hunting him down, Kai would find Po and the others no matter where they ran. Po even said āThereās nowhere to run.ā This made Kai felt very unstoppable, which was just as good as being intimidating.

Kai's theme does not sound very evil but it really screams power, something that is unstoppable and it gives an intimidation that is different from fear, it's like what a character feel when facing off against a really powerfull opponent and feel the chills.

Kai's Theme is based on Imagine Dragons's I'm So Sorry. Imagine Dragons is credited in the movie and Kai tracks since Hans Zimmer/Lorne Balfe used the melody of the song. It's simple yet so Epic and Powerful and it's one of my favorite villain themes!!!
