I just thought about something when they talk about the underground trains in this particular story the trains are still locomotives.
In the late 1800s when I started to build can you take out the giant holes that would be for an underground train there is no ventilation.
The coal fed the locomotive and the steam pumped up the top. From the smell of
coal, the heat created from the locomotive
In those enclosed tunnels the worst main killer in the 1900s was emphysema
Electric trains did not come about for at least 40 more years
since 1890
