Sad to see so many F1 fans say they don't know anything about the Indy 500. If you were truly an F1 fan, you would know that the 500 use to be a crucial part of the Formula 1 World Championship back in the day, along with Monza's oval.

I think this was an awesome finish to the 100th, considering the outcome and that the same team brought Dan Wheldon a win, so I feel this is sort of a tribute to his greatness as well. Lots of great things happened this race, and I know it will be one that will always be remembered.

Here because of Fernando Alonso (btw he's maybe top-5 all time); and there's one thing that I'm "afraid" of in the race for his options to win it: SOOOOOOO many mistakes from other drivers can end your race. The stops also are a huge factor that he'll have to control if he wants to keep his options until the very last lap.
Oh, and I'm probably gonna watch A LOT of this kind of races after this one. It seems cool and fun to watch

Appalled at how many F1 fans are on here who have never heard of the Indy 500. If an American had never heard of Monaco or Le Mans we would be labeled dumb and ignorant! Sad! Hopefully we attract lots of new fans though

looking back at this race makes me cry every time. Bryan Herta has always been a legend to me and that call was phenomenal. Alex knows how to save fuel from his GP2 and GP3 days along with most drivers but the F1 experience i think strengthened that. Glad he's over in the US doing Indycar instead of F1

This race had so many Dan Wheldon connections to it that it was hilarious to someone like me. This was one of the most amazing racing finishes in such a long time.
