There is one of the best versions of Ghost Riders in the Sky that I have heard Johnny Cash sing in this video (beginning around 2:25:40) - his unique, special voice comes through clear and strong! He was an amazing singing performer- much better in-person in front of an audience that on a record in my opinion, and not many singers have that ability - many singers need the recording studio tricks to make them sound good - not so Johnny Cash! You are missed Johnny but your music lives on in 2023!! This is great video compilation of portions of some of his TV specials.

Anyone confused by the bizarre first special here? It seemed really low budget and only used songs that avoided copyright issues. Like why were they singing stuff like Camptown Races and Oh Susana and no mainstream country songs???

Johnny bringing a city slicker to the country. I watched Johnny performing at the San Quinton Prison and he treated the convicts so kind. He had a special talent and loved his Country. There will never be another man in black.
