Death is before me today:
like the recovery of a sick man,
like going forth into a garden after sickness.
Death is before me today:
like the odor of myrrh,
like sitting under a sail in a good wind.
Death is before me today:
like the course of a stream;
like the return of a man from the war-galley to his house.
Death is before me today:
like the home that a man longs to see,
after years spent as a captive.

The wind swept away whatever stood in its way, yielding to the devil's anger. Man writhed in agony, caught in the deafening melody of death.The person died unhappy, was it time to find out where he came from ? Is it the fear on the edge of this cliff ? Only the last cries of the sick body were heard as death came through the door in a cold breeze. Man went out at the dawn of a cold day.

The music is gorgeous! I like best the notion you are hinting at, I think; that, there is a compassionate Being with us when we are in the process of dying. As a single man with no family I have long mused that if I am going to have someone with me when I transition to the next life it would need to be a celestial or divine entity to come and keep me company - hopefully, a benevolent being and not anyone hateful or malicious - unless, I wind up deserving such a companion or they are all that's available. I think, I'd take any company, good or not, rather than be completely alone in such a time.
Thanks, "nobody." for opening up the possibility in my mind that I shall indeed have a hand to hold on that day, may it be a very long way away from today. 💜

“Death, plays me that song one final time please, for my soul is restless , and my body is exhausted, for I yearn for peace , whether is heaven or hell, The lord knows better for one final resting place would be, now my Angel of death , take what’s due”__the last words of unknown doctor letter during the black plague
