These natural skincare “hack” just aren’t it 👀 As a dermatologist, I look at ingredients & facts, not hype! Here they are 👇
1️⃣ Lemon juice on your face: Too acidic. Too unpredictable. Can lead to chemical burns and dark spots.
2️⃣ Baking soda scrubs: Super alkaline = skin barrier disaster. Please don’t 😭
3️⃣ Coconut oil as a facial moisturizer: Comedogenic and pore-clogging for most skin types. Your face deserves better 🙏
4️⃣ Apple cider vinegar as toner: Can cause irritation and chemical burns. Save it for your salad 🥗
5️⃣ Essential oil-heavy serums: Lavender, citrus, peppermint... all potential allergens. Smells nice, until your skin says otherwise
