Worked out I had 1 year of being an adult before I was diagnosed with my first lifelong medical condition. 1 year of adulthood before starting to fight medical conditions, 1 damned year.

To be fair, they can have long periods of better and worse, where the difference is huge. My stepmother is reduced to a wheelchair and then seems perfectly fine... each for months at a time.

My friend and neighbor has MS. he is getting worse. It's a terrible disease and it is debilitating, affecting the brain and body. Eyes even. It's awful and painful. He has 0 medical help or meds. Dr's. Are impatient with him and drop him. It's terrible
