Because Motley isn’t standing or walking on his own, his bones in his front and hind legs are not undergoing daily physical stress or tension and bones grow/stay strong in response to stress. My 11 yr old has Osteo arthritis in his Knees & I use the plate he’s seen it most of his life so one day I started to get him up on it I don’t think he would but for Treats he will do most things.. I think he is less stiff ( he still has meds & a U move max strength which he was having b4 the plate ) He goes on for one treat I break into tiny bits & give slowest to 10 seconds & that’s twice a day . I havnt had a problem getting him out to walk on Cold damp days now ! I think it’s helped but I’m looking for any research down on this xx
