THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME APPROXIMATELY 8WEEKS AGO WITH MY HAND. I WAS TRYING TO CLOSE THE WINDOW ON MY DOOR AND IT SLAMMED DOWN SLANTED ON MY HAND & FINGERS. I WAS WONDERING WHY IT TOOK SO LONG TO HEAL, NOW I KNOW WHAT IT IS CALLED. FYI EVEN AFTER 8WEEKS I AM STILL FEELING SOME PAIN ESPECIALLY IF I AM USING MY HAND A LOT THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
THANKS DOC FOR THE SHORT VIDEOS OF KNOWLEDGE.

Back in the my younger days in croatia, police use rubber sticks with a steel rod inside to hit us, the worst pain i ever felt, the muscles split from the bones, the stuff was just wrong, it was like a snake, it would just bend around your arm and still hit you on the head or body.

I got a deep bone bruise on my tailbone while snowboarding one time. It took like 3 years before I wouldn’t get a twinge of pain if I sat down wrong.

I bruised what I reckon was my femur playing soccer years ago, and i was unable to walk for a week or two. They can be pretty gnarly.
