Matt Borne & Hacksaw Jim Duggan had a lot of real-life heat going back to their days together in Mid-South Wrestling. Once former partners in the ring, an incident outside the ring changed their lives and the trajectory of their friendship forever.
See what happened during this now infamous match between Doink and Hacksaw in White Plains, NY. From Pro Wrestling Syndicate "Vendetta" in May 2010.
According to Matt Borne, Duggan allegedly refused to sell for him during the contest. That's when things started to get real out of hand.
Duggan however says that Doink was being difficult to work with so stories are still conflicted to this day. You be the judge.
Borne eventually wrestles Duggan to the ground and kicks him in the face. After this, both men put their fists up ready to fight. You can hear Borne off-camera saying "You wanna work or you wanna fight?".

I used to watch jim Dugan as a kid, now I am an out of shape 40 year old. I can’t even imagine how sore and broken his body is.

Old history here. Former partners until a fan jumped Duggan. Matt jumped in and saved him. He was grateful at first until the fan sued Duggan. Still can’t believe the judge sided with the tool who attacked Jim to begin with
