Strangely in India upper class types wore shorts etc snd seemed accepted butthe 1 time I wore a sleeveless tshirt was very much stared at. Therefore bought a lilac kaftan and never looked back, it was already boiling enough in February by day and cotton felt good.

💯 my scarves get me through so much, as skirts, shoulder covers, a blanket on a budget flight, even creatively tied as dresses. One kept me warm in a freezing cold South Korea then cool as a wrap while in SE Asia on the same trip. I’ve also used them as a beach towel in a pinch. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy says you should always have your towel… I say you should always have your scarf

You amassed over one-hundred thousand subs. Way to go. Fantastic content even though I don't own any dresses to pack. Hope all is just, swell.

100% true if visiting Italy - going into churches, Basilicas, the Vatican etc. you need to cover your arms and to a degree your legs to walk in and see the stunner art. No shorts, no halter tops etc. Plus, it's an excellent reason to get yourself a lovely silk scarf while there anyway. Sometimes people forget that those places are considered holy for others. Respect that culture even if you're not religious. Seeing a Michelangelo is worth it.
