Engine and transmission are worth about 4K. If the frame isn't tweaked, another grand. Given there are good body panels, another 500. They paid about 2500 to you for all this.

If frame is okay - 4000 - since someone may actually rebuild the car since it's pretty much in tact, it isn't burned up and the interior isn't disgusting (and blood covered)...Corvette's have a following so "base model" means nothing. Enginevand Trans may end up in another Corvette tho, and parting this fairly clean car is an option if they're not concerned for a quick flip. Sticking the engine in a hotvrod/custom a headache with ECM and electronics....

The motor and transmission are kind of valuable so I would say it would be worth your while if you sold it for $2,500 because I think you would take the motor and trans out and then see what other parts you could Salvage so just to save time you did that I would imagine.
