I was experiencing intermittent blindness and dizziness with nausea for a few weeks. I mentioned it to my GP who argued that it was definitely Migraines. I told him I was sure it wasn’t, Migraine had never made me totally blind for several minutes and I trusted my own senses. He was adamant and rather rude. Around a week later I had a bleed on the brain. Scans revealed I’d also suffered a previous stroke. Trust your instincts.

I had a stroke three months ago and didn’t have those signs at all. It was miserable. I’ll tell you that and I’m now at home recovering and it’s taking forever to get better. I am eating very very differently than I ate before so I’m very pleased with the new motivation.

Had a coworker, show up with a severe headache, radiating from the back to the front. She also felt nauseous and sick. Thought it was just a bad migraine. But as the day went on, she ended up slurring her speech and knew something was wrong. Turns out , it was a small stroke due to unmanaged high sugar levels and bp.

Many say only the drooling of face, unable to lift one hand etc., Berg is the only person, gives clear explanations like head aches, vomitting and chest pain. Hatsoff docā¤

Cayenne Pepper!! Take cayenne pepper! My friend was stroking out and was unable to talk and unable to walk. Within minutes of drinking a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of water and he was talking. Within the hour he decided what hospital he wanted to go to. Cannot tell he ever had the stroke.
God bless you!

My dad had this. Severe headache nonstop, high blood pressure, go to hospital and they say nothing is wrong. He also had hiccups that weren't going away. He was also a diabetic.

I would say mental attitude. If you are pissed off at everything and over the age of 40 and do not watch your sugar intake through all food. You are a prime candidate for a stroke.
Start exercising and fasting and watching sugar intake.

I had an ischaemic stroke 21mths ago. It was very very peaceful. Blood sugar was fine. In the few months prior, I’d had an increase in migraine auras and thigh cramps at night that were so bad I was crying with the pain. While the stroke was occurring, I ā€˜recovered’ about 10 times but after being given the clot buster, the stroke finally did its damage and I was paralysed down left side. Sensation issues ,weak glutes and tight muscles/fascia on affected side are ongoing problems but working on them. Recovery can be a marathon, not a sprint, unfortunately 😊

Thank you Dr. for this information. I survived a stroke many years ago. It was absolutely terrifying. I could not speak, my eye sight went temporarily dark. I could not remember what I was doing and lost sense of time. When I finally gained my senses, I was still standing by the kitchen cupboard. No one was with me that day, so I never went to the hospital. I didn't find out til much later on, I had a stroke. Now I'm on a Statin to prevent another Stroke. Thankfully my vision was restored, but I sometimes jumble up my words or thoughts. I also survived Cancer last year. I am 4 months Cancer free. I'm a big believer in paying attention to how your body feels. So I'm slowly working on changing my diet, trying to watch stress and exercise more.

This is how I saved a friend of mine from stroke he felt chest pain and was nauseous he was sure it was because of his morning coffee ā˜•ļø I didn’t think so so I took his blood pressure and holy smokes it was out of the roof so I immediately called a doctor who confirmed my suspicions and then we took him straight to the hospital he underwent a surgery and the whole week I was next to him and never budged he’s doing well now and I miss him I wish he can call me if you see this mon Philou I miss you 😘

I had a stroke in October of 2018. I didn't have any signs of stroke coming or when it was happening. I asked my brother to drive me to the hospital. I told the emergency staff that I was having a stroke. They told me I was correct.

My stroke happened almost instantaneously. My right ear popped very painfully, and it felt like a ice pic was in it. My vision instantly blurred heavily. I was in a meeting setting. I felt like I got up and walked out of the room, but everybody told me I staggered around like I just took an 10 shots of whiskey. Later, the origins of my stroke were determined to be factor 5 blood condition coupled with a PFO a heart valve opening that the clot passed through. The good Lord was on my side that day. I had incredible coworkers that saved my life. And honestly, I made a full recovery within a month just on blood thinners now.. I was 34 years old and in good shape. I just remember the life flight folks kept asking each other. How is this guy?
