Someday we will just have to admit there have been many extraordinary civilizations before us.

I love LYDAR so very much. I would love to see the whole world mapped with this stuff. Things really would come to light then.

In 1978 while on a flight over northern Guatemala, I saw hundreds of small pointy hills, after just seeing a few and having seen Tikal a couple of days before, I thought "I think these are all Mayan pyramids" Then Lidar came around and voilà! Pyramids!!!

Amazon was our food farm. Most trees there are edible fruits.

Maybe I should buy a LiDAR and a Cessna and start a mapping service.

For some reason I feel like someone or some people out there don’t want us to use LiDAR to find out what’s there and answer some of our questions of the past

I had an argument with a guide at Tikal years ago I was like this must have been a bustling area for miles and he was like It’s an anomaly out in the jungle smh

The discoveries would all be uniquely
amazing but it wouldn't help one tiny bit help us from doing possibly the same things to destroy ourselves..

I hope that when we discover and learn these mysteries, I'm still alive as well as Graham Hancock

The reason why we don't hear of LIDAR being used over the entire Amazon, s because it is being used. The most powerful want those treasures before anyone knows they exist. It's a race.

Early explorers would talk about the structures they would pass as they traveled through the Amazon. It is probably all buried now.

I'm a little confused, is he saying that the Amazon is in Guatemala also?
The Amazon it's located in South America and only some countries have part of it...Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, a very small part of Guyana (the French one)
The country of Guatemala is located in another area called Central America, the Darien Gap marks the difference between these two areas... The Darien Gap located at the border of Panama and Colombia is the line which divides the two continents.
Fascinating stuff about what Lidar can do!
