Yup, I see a market for this device. Burn the wire and sell it for crafting. Fire removes the tension from the wire. Are you pulling all strands at once?

Being a fabricator, for 20+ years , You absolutely nailed this thing!
If there are no others, on the market, I would seriously consider a patent and marketing, to see what kind of demand, there may be!?
