Personally, I distinguish between bootleg games and unlicenced games. The former steals graphics and and intellectual property. The latter doesn't necessarily do that, it just happens to be made without the console manufacturer's permission.

These aren't video games, but still. The Ren and Stimpy cartoon series has a bunch of imitations, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Pig-Goat-Banana-Cricket, Space-Monkeys, and Fish hooks. While they don't quite match the quality of the original (except for SpongeBob, who eventually fell down), they still have a dedicated fan base.

The first game clip reminds more of the mckids McDonald's game than it does Mario.
Shouldn't china be dubbed the bootleg capital of the world if it hasn't already and I'm not aware of it yet? Not just gaming but in a ton of products that you can see at flea markets like knock off shoes of major popular brands .

Not a video game, but I think a good example of a bootleg would be oggy and the cockaroaches. Its obviosuly supposed to be a ripoff of tom and jerry...
But still that show definetly did a lot of things right. I still love it either way.

The YouTube algorithm has been trying to get me to watch your channel for years. I get the appeal, but I gotta admit, the way you talk, especially how you end your sentences, really of throws me off. Maybe a speech coach could help smooth it out. No hate at all, just some friendly feedback from someone the algorithm refuses to give up on.
