I pre-ordered four of the crystal controllers, all arrived today. I think this is the final word in modern GameCube controllers, they are superb!

I got mine today and I really like it. The triggers take a little getting used to because GC ones have a slight stop before they click and these more pressure sensitive till you hit the click. The Dpad is clicky switchs but don't feel bad. Though you wouldnt want to for example Contra or a fighter where it requires corner imputs. Gamecube games barely use the Dpad, so its not really a deal breaker. It definitely has a nice weight to it and the plastic doesnt feel cheap. I tried the 2.4 and worked as intended, but i got this to hook up to my blue retro for a clean look. Overall i am quite satisfied

There's a slight problem with the left thumbstick, don't know if anybody else has this problem but just barely moving the left thumbstick makes it move characters, which can be a big problem. And I also can't get it calibrated on Switch either

It's amazing how the GCN controller has really stood the test of time. Even Nintendo has modernized it for the Switch 2, in addition to all the third-party variants.
