最高人民检察院2024年6月5日消息，日前，广东省东莞市人大常委会原党组成员、副主任梁荣业（副厅级）涉嫌受贿罪一案，经广东省人民检察院指定管辖，由肇庆市人民检察院依法向肇庆市中级人民法院提起公诉。检察机关在审查起诉阶段，依法告知了被告人梁荣业享有的诉讼权利，并依法讯问了被告人，听取了辩护人的意见。肇庆市人民检察院起诉指控：2002年至2020年，被告人梁荣业利用担任东莞市长安镇党委副书记、镇长，大岭山镇党委书记，石碣镇党委书记，沙田镇党委书记，寮步镇党委书记等职务上的便利或职权、地位形成的便利条件，为他人在工程项目承揽、土地使用权高价转让、子女入学、岗位调整、职务晋升等方面提供帮助，非法收受他人财物，数额特别巨大，依法应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。
