One if the most loyal and intelligent dogs I ever owned. He was 1 when I adopted him, with zero training.and very hard to manage. Within a year he was perfect.

I met a couple that had a puppy on a walk. I work on golf course. They looked at me funny when i said oh nice a Weimaraner. They said what lol i said it again. They werent sure what it was and were told it was a lab cross 😂 soon as i saw it i knew instantly what it was. The ears the colour the eyes and the fact it was a leggy pup. So i explained to them about the ghost dog and that it will be big and very active. Noble dog breed used for hunting but very smart dogs. Love em. They left happy and pleased to know what they had. Lo

My dad had one when I was a child. We were ignorant and probably needed something more like a bulldog lol but his name was Smokey cause he was gray like smoke. He hurt alot of kids by jumping on them and he basically had the zoomies 24/7 and barked non stop. We just thought it was his personality....😅 Now I realize we created this personality..

My grandma used to have one named Calie. She was my best friend, one of the sweetest dogs i’ve ever met, yet protective. She did have one eye due to a golf cart accident and sadly died from a tumor at 8 1/2

Had weims for the past 20 years. Loyal, intelligent, ACTIVE, and quite the velcro dogs. They are companion animals who love to be with their person/family/pack. Thank you for giving your advice to any prospective owners. There are so many in shelters that have been given up on. 😢 these beautiful animals are more than a pretty face

I had 2 weimaraners. My male lived to 17 and the female almost 16. They’re the most loyal dogs on the planet and just need daily walks and a couple runs a week. They are the most intelligent and there’s no better companion than a pair of weims. Training from the start is super important but they pretty much understand everything by around 5 months old. They’re also excellent swimmers and great bird dogs. The only issue I ever had was the separation anxiety. When my son was at school and I was at work, they would cry for hours

I got a Weimaraner for my birthday when I was a kid, and have had the same breed of dogs through the years. Great family dogs. But they can get Separation anxiety.

I just picked up my 8th weimaraner. Have 2 now. The others have passed over that last 30 years or so. This girl is pint-sized speed demon that was born to hunt. Laser focused but an affectionate little lady. That said, the weimaraner can test your patience if you fail to give them the outlets they need.

I sink nothing. Beside that, I’m a Mountainbiker, so I’m qualified for a Weimaraner

All dogs need an active owner, not just one with a fenced in backyard. I feel bad for most of the dogs in my neighborhood, that never leave their owners property. It’s like a prison sentence for doing nothing wrong.

Be ready for multiple trips to the dog park, long walks, and frequent visits to doggie day care 😂

Had one kinda shy but when it was time to defend me or my siblings he would bite first and bark later. Always loyal and always ready for action. Was my best friend for 18 years. Never took a rest they are incredible healthy and active even for senior years. One day tried to hump my other female dog and suffered a heart attack. He crossed the rainbow bridge strong and I guess happy. Still miss him till this day. Other little story. I didn’t know it was a hunting breed until one day a construction worker who was building my neighbors house took him to catch squirrels and the genetics kicked in because I would bring the prey and gave it to him 😳 then the man explained me all the story about the breed. I have a GSD now and those to have one know how active they are but a Weimaraner are even more active but less scary and less dominant. Instinct for protection is there though. If you like to go hiking, running or any other outside activity this is the one for you

👍💪👏👏👏 Great videos! 🤓 I only comment to help your algorithm if possible.😎 They're so smart & precocious that the family needs to pass IQ tests before allowed to get one. The photographer who used to make the books with his weis said that when he wasn't giving one enough attention, the dog got a big rock & held it over the glass coffee ta
