⚙ Mod Support
The game supports mods via JavaScript & the gdt-modAPI. As of May 2022, there are 860+ mods on Steam Workshop, ranging from simple tweaks to advanced libraries like UltimateLib. Many mods are made using Ultimate Module Editor (UME).

🏴‍☠️ The Genius Anti-Piracy Feature
Knowing the game would be pirated, Greenheart Games released a cracked version themselves. The catch? As players progressed, they’d see this message:

💬 "Boss, it seems that while many players play our new game, they steal it by downloading a cracked version rather than buying it legally. If players don't buy the games they like, we will sooner or later go bankrupt."

Pirates eventually go bankrupt in-game due to piracy—leading to hilarious complaints from real pirates who didn't realize the irony. 😂
