Your supposed to keep the compression nut on the angle stop while using the internal cheater bar this way keeps an even pressure on the small machined threads. just fyi

The copper pipe exposed past or through the excusion, just a personal no no... Eyesore, especially with anything that will be visible/exposed... Female threaded sweat fitting flush with wall , and whichever finish / length nipple / non compression ( threaded) Ball valve....

Def the cheapy way to go tjere are most definitely better wrenches out there. You have a better chance of snapping brittle cpvc with thoae wrenches
