Another way is to think about that : x + z = 51 which is same as 17 + 34 also 17 + 34 = x + y + y + z .... So we can say that y=0
If y=0 then x=17 and z=34
So the answer is : 34/17 = 2

I added eq'ns 2 & 3 to get: x + y + 2z = 85
But, from eq'n 1, we know x + y = 17, so subbing, we get: 17 + 2z = 85
Solving for z: z = (85 - 17)/2 = 34.
So z/(x + y) = 34/17 = 2. Done!

Suggestion: we can plug in 17 into dominator right away, because we know, that x+y=17
